WMN atelier teams received an honorary award from the Tamayoz International Award for their work on the Rifat Chaderji Award for Mosul Housing Competition. In order to create a resilient and independent community, the housing project will be built off the remaining patterns the city has left behind through the framework. The proposal uses the underground tunnels that ISIS dug and adapts them for infrastructure and urban needs such as transportation and utilities.
